Radisys and AirHop Communications announced the integration of AirHop’s eSON™ software with Radisys’ Trillium® LTE TOTALeNodeB™ solution and Broadcom Corporation’s BCM617xx Series small cell silicon. This integrated Self-Organizing Network (SON) solution for LTE and LTE-Advanced small cell networks allows mobile operators to quickly deploy interference management functionality across a broad customer base. Trial deployments of the integrated SON solution are underway with leading mobile operators.
