TeliaSonera’s subsidiary EMT in Estonia won on 29 May, 2013 a spectrum beauty contest for the 800 MHz band, enabling faster 4G coverage over wide and rural areas. In 2010, EMT was the first operator in Estonia to launch a 4G network, based on the LTE technology. On 29 May, 2013, EMT won the spectrum beauty contest for the 800 MHz band, enabling faster 4G coverage over wide and rural areas, and started a very ambitious build-out with of 4G. At 16 June , approximately two weeks later, the 4G build-out is ready and covers over 95% territorial area in Estonia, which is the best area coverage in Europe. More at
