Columbia high Speed and Mm-Wave IC Lab demonstrated the world’s first mm-Wave full-duplex wireless link over 0.8 meters using their direct-conversion 60 GHz CMOS transceiver developed for same-channel full duplex or simultaneous transmit and receive (STAR) applications. The transceiver employs a novel polarization-based reconfigurable antenna cancellation and a RF cancellation path to enable mm-Wave full-duplex operation.
