LAS VEGAS–Galtronics Corporation Ltd. announced today the launch of its newest MIMO iDAS antenna, PEAR™ M4936i for 4G/LTE in-building environments. The broadband omni antenna operates from 698-2700 MHz, enabling the capacity and spectral efficiencies of cross polarization in all MIMO frequency bands where LTE is currently and planned to be deployed. The announcement was made this week at CTIA 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“With our newest PEAR in-building MIMO antenna, Galtronics is once again meeting industry demand for omni coverage across the full LTE bandwidth”

As in other Galtronics PEAR antennas, the M4936i high-gain antenna radiates power down and away from the ceiling reducing passive intermodulation (PIM) which results in greater bandwidth and data throughput. In addition to its low PIM performance of < -150 dBc @ 2x 20W, the antenna makes the most efficient use of expensive carrier spectrum resulting in increased capacity.

“With our newest PEAR in-building MIMO antenna, Galtronics is once again meeting industry demand for omni coverage across the full LTE bandwidth,” said Ephraim Ulmer, president and CEO of Galtronics. “The proven benefits of the Galtronics omni cross-polarized antennas provide maximum capacity and spectral efficiency sought after by carriers, integrators, equipment vendors and systems designers alike.”

The PEAR™ M4936i antenna is now commercially available, and its RF performance can be simulated by tools such as iBwave.
